At the heart of Cómpeta’s art scene lies the Centro Luz de la Vida gallery, in the centre of the Pueblo. Here, you’ll find an exquisite collection of art and cultural displays from talented international artists, pulled together by Lieuwke Loth. A superbly talented artist in her own right, we particularly love her unique lasercut sculptures. Lieuwke is also one of the prinicipal organisers of the Cómpeta Monthly Art and Craft Walk.

We are blessed to have many talented photographers in Cómpeta.  However, without doubt Dave Shannon of Cómpeta Portraits can capture our imagination and mesmerise us with every single photo. He is a specialist in black and white photography, mainly shooting in analogue. His images certainly capture the mood and they transport you immediately to the scene. Dave will be exhibiting at the Cómpeta Art Walk, where his stunning black and white images will undoubtedly captivate art enthusiasts. Notably, his works feature proudly in No 8, where you will find a stunning trio of traditional flamenco images, copies of which are available to purchase.
