about us - how we came to competa!
In 2017, our journey led us to the picturesque village of Competa, and from the moment we set foot here, its enchanting allure captured our hearts. Amidst an extensive quest for a new place to call home, Competa emerged as the one that tugged at our heartstrings like no other. Having owned and run a thriving 13-bed hotel in England, our desire for a life infused with hospitality remained strong. Competa, with its cobbled streets, fragrant blossoms gracing the balconies of its whitewashed townhouses, and the backdrop of majestic mountains, was the perfect embodiment of our aspirations, an instant and deep-seated fascination.
Fortunately, our sentiment is shared by our cherished guests. Our properties boast a multitude of 5-star reviews, a testament to the exceptional experiences we strive to provide. Many of our visitors find themselves returning to our houses for their holidays, drawn back by the profound enjoyment they have encountered during their stays.

About us - the houses!
No. 9 marked the beginning of our remarkable townhouse collection. This exquisite 2-bedroom ensuite townhouse, nestled in a tranquil corner of the main square, boasts a charming Moroccan influence. A hidden gem with its courtyard pool, No. 9 offers a unique ambiance. From here, you can also bask in the splendid views of Plaza Almijara, an unrivaled vista that defines the essence of our town.
Following suit, No. 17 joined our portfolio. This elegant 2-bedroom residence exudes a blend of Spanish and Scandinavian aesthetics, featuring a rooftop pool that offers breathtaking 360º views of the mountains and the coast. Tucked away in a serene street, a mere hop away from the square, No. 17 promises both serenity and convenience.
In 2022, a new chapter began with the inclusion of No. 8 in our portfolio—an ambitious endeavor that marked our most substantial project yet. This offering encompasses a main townhouse with 3 ensuite bedrooms, accompanied by an adjoining one-bedroom apartment complete with a roll-top bath and a walk-in shower. Additionally, a king-size sofa bed graces the lounge, ensuring ample accommodation space.
Each of our three houses occupies a distinct point at the heart of the pueblo, mere moments apart. This strategic arrangement makes them ideal for group holidays and family celebrations, providing a central haven that radiates comfort and luxury.
